DISNEYLAND 2012

We had SOOOO much fun at Disneyland this year! We drove to Mesquite and stayed the night on the way there. Hailey decided at the last minute she wanted to come with us so Brad and I got to go to the casino and gamble while she stayed back with the girls. The next day we got to our hotel in the afternoon, my friend Stephanie her hubby and her 2 kids came down, so we saw them for a little bit that day and then spent most of the day Tuesday with them at the park. Stephanie had Minnie Mouse necklaces made for all of us girls, they were so cute! I'm so happy they came down, I loved seeing them all! Kensi and Brinley became best little friend's with Brooklynn immediately. And they were all so sad when we had to go our seperate ways! We took Kensi and Brinley the first night to Disney since they were open late. We went on all the big rides the babies couldn't go on. My gramma and papa came with us too, so they stayed back with the babies at the hotel the 1st night. The next 4 days were so fun! We went on everything as many times as we wanted, it looked PACKED, but we really didn't have to wait for any rides. Toy Story always has a long line, so we did wait 45 minutes for that, but everything else we just walked right on. It was the perfect time of year to go, the weather was great too. Hot in the morning, but cold at night. Kensi and Brinley were so brave and went on Tower of Terror. Brinley went 2 times, only because we made her, and cried both times. Kensi went 1 time and loved it! Brinley's favorite ride is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Kensi's favorite was Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Space Mountain. Ellie and Berklee both loved Pirates and Its a small world. But we all loved every single ride! We ate at Goofy's Kitchen on the 2nd night for dinner, it was pricey, but worth it! The food was good, and all the main characters came around for pictures and autographs. The girl's got to meet pretty much everyone, the only thing we didn't do was the princess fair and Tinkerbell. I wish we would have, but the lines were always so long, and they got to see all of them last time we went. On the way home we decided to drive straight through since we got to Vegas at 1. I'm so glad we did! The kids did really well considering they were in the car for 12 hours by the time we got home! We were all very sad to leave (except Hailey, she couldn't wait to get home. Oh, and Papa, the kids were driving him nuts!). I cant wait to start planning our trip for next year!

10 months!

A little late posting this! Berklee is 10 months old! She just had her first trip to Disneyland and LOVED it! She has her 2 bottom front teeth, refuses to eat almost all baby foods. She only wants REAL food! She is still a great sleeper, sleeps from 630-7PM until around 730AM and takes 1-2 naps a day. She crawls really fast and pulls herself up on all the furniture. Not letting go or taking steps yet, which is fine with me! She is also going up all the stairs, but cant go down. She loves to be held. We love you Turkey! I cant believe how fast this first year has gone by!

Easter 2012

I haven't been a very good planner lately, so the girls dyed Easter eggs the night before, in about 10 minutes since I was rushing off to work, story of our lives. I didn't know I was out of vinegar, so the colors didn't show up very well. I got off a few minutes early so I could get the baskets out before everyone woke up. They all got their Easter dresses, some candy and a few little things and they each got a $15 GC to Disneyland! That Easter bunny is so smart!! Kensi and Brinley went with Brad to his parents while the babies and I napped. Then we went to Gramma Freda and Papa's to have dinner with my family. I forgot the camera, so no pictures from there. The girls got more money for Disneyland, books, clothes, and a squishy baff! (Well see how that goes) I took them to see the bunny at the mall last week, there was no line and Ellie was excited! Until she had to sit on his lap! Then she freaked! Once she was away from him she kept waving and was happy. Happy Easter!!

9 months!

Berkie Turkey is 9 months! She finally has 1 tooth! This kid is spoiled rotten, if she isnt being held, she most likely isnt happy! She does love to crawl around and play everywhere, but she loves to be held! She can almost pull herself up to standing on the stairs, and if you stand her up on the furniture she will stand there for a long time. She is babbling a lot now and is waving! She went to the Dr. last week and she weighs 17lbs 9oz (25%) and is 27 inches long (25%). Looks like we wont be able to turn her around for the trip to Disneyland! Hopefully she will do fine without movies! Her new favorite is ritz and club crackers, and she tried mac and cheese for the first time yesterday and loved it! She loves to watch TV if its Mickey Mouse. We took her to see the Easter bunny yesterday and she actually didnt freak out, even though she has stranger anxiety pretty bad. Almost birthday time!! I cant wait to see her grow, but Im sad were almost done with her being a baby..... Love you Turkey :)

Photo Shoot

I took the girls to Fotofly yesterday, they did a good job, but Berklee was NOT having it! Everytime the girl made a funny noise to get her to smile, or she saw the flash, she FREAKED! I actually love the ones of her crying! She was exactly 9 months in these pictures, Ellie 22 months, Brinley 5 and Kensi 6 1/2

BOOKED!!

Disneyland is only 66 days away! Let the countdown begin!! :) YAY!!

8 months!

Berkie turkey is 8 months! She is going into big girl mode, crawling all over the place! We have to watch her like a hawk because every single teeny tiny thing goes straight into her mouth! She is still sleeping like crazy, but she is staying awake longer during the day. Seperation anxiety is getting worse, if you leave the room she screams, so somebody has to be with her at all times. She also now thinks she needs to be held at all times! Which sadly doesnt get to happen most of the time! She loves to just snuggle up on my shoulder, so I really like the time we have, just her and me. She loves to play with Ellie when she isnt getting pushed down or her hair pulled! Poor baby! She is starting to get excited when she sees certain people and she is wanting to stand up all the time. I have a rule Berkie, NO walking until we get home from Disneyland! She is still just the happiest little thing and never cries unless she is tired! We love you so much turkey, your going to be 1 before I know it!!

Happy Birthday Brinley!!

Brinley is 5. Where has the time gone? Seems like just last week I was going in to have her. I hope those memories never fade.....

The weekend before her birthday we drove down to Orem to go to the Disney store and let her pick whatever she wanted for her present. She chose a Repunzel hair halo, the matching wand, sunglasses, and Tinkerbell placemat, plate and cup. On her actual birthday I had to sleep for a few hours since I had worked the night before, but she woke up to a "real" Beauty and the Beast (the one we had was a bootleg from Hong Kong that didnt work in the van) and a Tink balloon. She chose to go to Nickelcade, come to find out it was closed, we do live in Utah after all. So then she wanted to go bowling. She is actually VERY good!! Then it was McDonald's for dinner. We had gone to dinner with Brad's family the week before, which was a nightmare, and she got lots of cute stuff. On President's day we had our family and some friends over for pizza, JUSTIN BIEBER cake and ice cream. She got spoiled again! We love you Brinley! I cant believe your almost a Kindergartener! Your so smart and funny, and your so tender hearted and cry so easily! I hope you had a great birthday!! :)
